POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE (PET)

PET blends are engineering plastics with excellent processing characteristics and high strength and rigidity for a broad range of applications. Polyethylene terephthalate offers excellent mechanical, electrical and thermal properties with environmental stress crack resistance, good chemical resistance, heat ageing resistance, even at elevated temperatures, offering dimensional stability.

APPLICATIONS: Engineering thermoplastic polyesters are performance polymers. Their successful penetration into each of these segments is based on different criteria. Engineering Polyesters find application in the transportation, automotive, electrical/ electronic & industrial domains. They are available in bottle grade, sheet grade & fiber grade.
